… the animated tour-de-force Photograph of Jesus directed by Laurie Hill. The British Jury comprised: Tom Harper (writer and director), producer Kate Swan, and writer and Independent on Sunday film critic Jonathan Romney. They described the winning film as: “ An extraordinary animation that demonstrates a wealth of exuberance and charm and which also raises philosophical questions about real and alternative history in an English tradition”.
